AMAUTA has an international staff that speaks several languages.
Our main goal is to help you improve your Spanish and make your
stay as enjoyable as possible. We will be pleased to help you organizing
your leisure activities, book your flights and excursions, assisting
you when needed and helping to find solutions to eventual problems.
We want you to make the most out of your stay in Peru!

ANA BERROCAL

Hi, my name is Ana. I am the director´s assitant here at Amauta. My job is very interesting with various tasks to be done. Before working here I had no idea that there were so many details that needed to be organized for your stay here in Cusco. We want to make sure that your time here at our school is pleasant and unforgettable. Our goal is that you leave Cusco with the most beautiful memories of our school and of this enchanting country. |

I am really happy to be part of a team that is so committed to its work. I love to welcome the students every Monday and celebrate with them on Fridays with a Pisco Sour. It is a great way to acknowledge their achievements once they receive their certificates ater they are finished their course. |

Hola, I am Lucretia and I am from Holland. I just started my work as the volunteer coordinator at Amauta.
I could not have found a more versatile and rewarding job then this! I enjoy welcoming the students every Monday and helping them find the right project if they are interested in voluntary work.

My name is Mauro, and I work at Amauta at night. I take care of the students’ safety, while I also watch the school building and its infrastructure, to make sure that our students will have a quiet and peaceful night. |

Hola, my name is Raúl and I work at the Amauta School in Taray, a lovely village in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, close to the town of Pisaq. I really enjoy my work, and I’ve noticed that the students appreciate my enthousiasm. Working with the students so far is the best experience I’ve ever had, and this motivates me to do even better. Working in Taray is like working in paradise! |
SABINA HUAMAN
Housekeeping

I work in the Housekeeping area, and I feel very good working here. I enjoy living with the foreign students and with my colleagues, who all have different tasks. The work is really satisfactory at any time, as long as there exists good communication between all of us. Amauta delivers high quality Spanish courses but also dancing, singing and culture lessons to its students, and we complement this service by preparing their food and drinks, and by keeping the school building clean. |
